Specific Issue Polygraph Test:
This type of test is used when there is a clearly defined incident that is being investigated. The test helps to establish whether the examinee should be considered as a possible suspect in the ongoing investigation of the matter.
This type of test is usually used to investigate theft, fraud, armed robbery, murder etc. The test questions focus on the single issue which is being investigated.
Issue specific testing is the most accurate of all polygraph testing techniques with accuracy ratings in the region of 95%. When this test is combined with our EyeDetect test the accuracy of the test results rises to 99%. We are premier service providers for EyeDetect in South Africa.
We utilise well known American Polygraph Association accredited testing techniques to ensure the highest level of accuracy and validity. The test results obtained from this type of test are often used to corroborate other evidence and the results can be presented at a disciplinary enquiry or at the CCCMA. Pre-Employment Polygraph Test:
This type of test is administered to prospective employees. The test questions are structured to ask about a number of issues such as previous involvement in theft from employers, undisclosed drug use, commission of serious crimes and falsification of employment application documentation.
This testing helps the employer identify those candidates that are concealing adverse information regarding their background. In South Africa there is a very high rate of forgery of educational qualifications and other certifications. Pre-employment testing helps to uncover such forgeries.
This test is a cost effective way for businesses to screen candidates on a number of issues simulataneously without having to the resort to separate checking of criminal history and validity of qualifications.
A pre-employment test is used by many of our clients in a “successive hurdle model” to ensure that only those candidates with the highest integrity are employed by the business.
